You can find links for the 2002 SP1.exe and SP2.exe in steps 6 & 7 of this guide to installing LT2002 on windows 7 or 8 I've not tried them as I dont have 2002, but the article is only 2 months old and the download links seem valid. As for the fatal error when opening a drawing, some users have reported this before with 2000/2002/2004 running on windows 7 and that just plugging a memory stick into any USB port solves the problem. Greetings, In a continuing effort to improve the quality of AutoCAD 2002, and AutoCAD LT 2002, Autodesk will be releasing the first Service Pack for beta testing. Serial number rups 2000 online. We believe that this update will improve our customers' experience with AutoCAD.

This Service Pack updates the English versions of AutoCAD 2002 and AutoCAD LT 2002. This should not be installed on other versions of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Desktop applications. Other products and local language versions will be released in the future. Important Note: Carefully consider that this is an unreleased beta product, is not fully supported, and may contain software defects. The purpose for beta testing is to find and report defects with the service pack so they can be fixed in the final released version. As with any beta software always back up your data and previous files, and exercise caution when in a production environment.

If you do not find these conditions acceptable, please wait for the final released version of the Service Pack. Because there is no uninstall ability for this Service Pack, you may need to uninstall and reinstall AutoCAD after the beta is over. The final released version will be available as a download and as a Live Update.

* When an active viewport is set to Current, it is now highlighted. * Tessellation of the edges of a small 3D geometry features has been refined. * Exploding proxy objects no longer result in duplicate text objects. * OLE object frames no longer appear in layouts where they were not inserted. * Markup text in a metric drawing is now scaled properly. * Text window flashing no longer occurs when objects are listed in a viewport located on a layer that is either frozen or off.

* Small arcs that are output to DWF format are no longer converted to circles. * Handles are no longer renumbered when an AutoCAD Release 12 DXF file is read. * Performing a transparent pan or zoom from the DTEXT command no longer results in a fatal error. * A randomly occurring license error has been eliminated.
