As it says in the title, I am looking for the uncut untampered version of the PSone RE with the uncut FMV in full color intro and the first zombie that is chewing on Kenneth’s head than drops it before turning around.

I’ve looked online and I keep seeing posts and reviews of people saying they bought what they thought was the OG version (This was on amazon) but instead they received the director’s cut. That is fucked up! I don’t have a PlayStation one or PlayStation 2 anymore but I have a PS3 so I can play PSone games on that. I know the game was also released on Windows as well but again I don’t know if that’s the version that has the mentioned uncut scenes in it so I need your help on determining if this. So I’m gonna keep searching to see what I can find but if you have any knowledge on which version I should be looking for (Japanese, UK or US) Note: I know the Japanese version has the full live action intro in color but I don’t know if it has changed to the soundtrack or gameplay like the directors cut did cause I don’t want the changes in that case and otherwise that would be the obvious choice if I can get it running on a modern PC using windows 10.

It was a bit of a hassle but imo well worth the effort to get this masterpiece running smooth as butter on Windows 10. Don't know if this helps but I remember there being 3 versions of the of Resident Evil ps1 in Japanese. The normal one called Biohazard. Then you have Biohazard director's cut.

Then Biohazard director's cut duel shock. I think I picked up the original Resident Evil (Biohazard) for like £10-15 and i got it imported. I just use EBAY. Hopefully any of that was helpful. Maybe you could try finding the pc version on websites that allows you to download 'abandonware' games. Might be a really issues with legality but I personally don't want to pay a lot for the pc version. I also managed to pick up a cheap modded Psone (fat) for like £15 as it didn't come with any cables.

I found a batch of his picture styles for download (that software is too unintuitive for me and I haven't really had time to figure it out on my own sadly) Hopefully we can take these 'presets' if you will and try to figure out how they came up with them.
