Hi all I have been searching and searching forums and the internet in general trying to find a way to tether the phone to my computer, using the phone as a modem. Unlimited internet and tethering is quite common in the UK with speeds exceeding landline broadband. Now, I know this can be done via Wifi but this drains the battery considerably and I have concerns about the safety of Wifi. From what I can find, it's up to the manufacturer to enable this feature on their phones but it doesnt look like Nokia have done so. I am using a Nokia 900 7.8 and Nokia 920. I love these Lumias but looks like I may have to switch back to Android (for my USB tethering) if this is not possible. IPhone also has this capability but I dislike Apple a lot.

I get between 12-14mbps typically and have hit 18mbps at times, whilst my landline can only provide 7mps max.I can download upto 100gb in a month no problem, and if I wanted more, it would not be an issue.
