Casparcg Flash

Is there any good tutorial how to connect external.as file with.ft file, i am pretty new to ActiveScript programming. I use flash CC 2015. TCP sockets can be done with plain text, but UDP is at the binary level. What version of CasparCG are you running. The CasparCG OSC Protocol says if you are on 2.0.4, the comms is unidirectional only.
